A pre-ipo shipping and logistics company’s CEO and board drove a significant uplift in customer conversions after initiating a Termina Scan that helped them identify significant challenges preventing customer revenue expansion. Challenge

In mid 2024, a pre-ipo company’s CEO and board faced an urgent need to fix a significant issue hampering the company’s growth. A Termina Scan detected significant drop-off in customer engagement between signup and recurring transactions.

Solution

Termina experts pulled millions of rows of raw marketing funnel data and conducted deep funnel and LTV analyses, identifying an improvement in time between steps, but degradation in conversion rates over the past 2 quarters.

Importantly, Termina experts identified several overlooked segments that were both over performing and under performing – across channel, geography, product type.

Following these discoveries, the growth team at the company and Termina experts agreed to focus on deploying a system that would identify high value prospects that the S&M team could prioritize.

Within weeks, Termina experts built and delivered a production ML classification model that predicts the LTVs of prospects over a 12mo time horizon.

The company deployed this model into the sales and marketing team allowing them to focus on prospects that would most likely convert into recurring customers.
