We are optimistic that by assembling the world's largest dataset of venture-backed companies, Investors and Executives will dramatically improve their decision making using Termina's Quantitative Diligence.
Termina was incubated as the initial diligence technology at Tribe Capital, a $1.7B venture fund, and is also backed by Sequoia's Scout program, X&, and Trenches Capital. We have largely bootstrapped through our early growth, and we are profitable.
We are looking for an Senior Front Engineer to craft beautiful user-centric, performant, and scalable interfaces for the world's most sophisticated Private-Markets Investors and Executives to consume and incorporate our models into their decision making processes.
Opportunities to Build Cutting-Edge UI:
Architect and build foundational user interfaces for our data application from scratch, including single-page applications using React and Next.js.
Own and drive the frontend architecture using technologies like React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Redux.
Strengthen familiarity with design systems and atomic design principles, including frameworks like Material-UI. to build reusable components.
Expand proficiency with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines using Cypress, Jest, and GitHub Actions.
Opportunities to Own our Design Process:
Lead the creation of mockups, converting designs into code, and implementing responsive, high-performance websites.
Collaborate with product and design teams, effectively interpreting product requirements and creative briefs to deliver impactful solutions.
Work closely with design tools like Figma to craft, refine, and enhance UI/UX.
Apply a deep understanding of typography, illustration, and iconography to create engaging, accessible interfaces.
About You:
2-7 years of experience as a frontend engineer, with a passion for delivering clean, functional, and visually appealing UI/UX.
Proven expertise in React, TypeScript, and state management tools such as Redux and React Query.
Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and scalable architectures.
An eye for design, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to the visual and UX design process.
A collaborative, proactive approach with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A commitment to ownership: able to estimate, manage, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Location: Candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area or in the Quebec Province and be willing to travel on a monthly basis to the Bay Area for team offsites.
